In pursuance of the provisions of the Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given that Lithgow City Council proposes to close part of a council public road described in Schedule 1.
Schedule 1:
Part of Tank Union Lane shown as proposed Lot 8557 on unregistered plan dated 24 November 2025, reference 6405. (A copy of the unregistered plan is available on Council’s website)
Upon closure of the road, council intends to transfer the lot to Lithgow & District Workmen's Club Limited pursuant to council resolution 25-264 of 27 October 2025.
Submissions
Anyone can make a submission regarding the application. Submissions must be in writing marked "Development Manager - Proposed Road Closing"

Received by Council no later than 4pm on 25 May 2026
Under the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, such submissions may be referred to third parties for consideration. Once the submission period ends, Lithgow City Council will consider all duly made submissions before deciding whether to continue with the road closure.
