Help Shape Lithgow Towards 2050

The Community Strategic Plan belongs to everyone who lives, works, learns and invests in the Lithgow Local Government Area. It will help guide decisions about the future of Lithgow over the next 25 years. 

We’re not simply asking whether you agree or disagree, and there are no right or wrong answers. We’re asking you to share your experiences, your ideas and your aspirations for the future. 

Some of the best ideas come from the people who know Lithgow best—those who live, work, volunteer, study or run businesses here every day. 

Your feedback will help Council understand not only what matters most, but why, so we can make better decisions about where to focus our efforts and resources. 

This discussion paper explores the opportunities, challenges and future directions for development and land-use planning across the Lithgow Local Government Area. 

It has been prepared to inform community discussion, gather local knowledge and ideas, and help shape the Community Strategic Plan Towards 2050. Your feedback will help identify priorities and guide future planning, advocacy and decision-making.

Your feedback will be considered alongside technical studies, demographic information, expert advice and further community engagement to help shape the Community Strategic Plan Towards 2050. We’ll share what we heard, what we learned, and how community feedback helped shape the final Community Strategic Plan.
