FAQs
Why is Council doing a feedback survey?
Council has been monitoring traffic challenges on numerous streets within the Vale of Clwydd area, Railway Parade Precinct and Eskbank Precinct and are doing a survey of residents and business employees / users to better understand what the challenges are, and their exact impacts.
How else is Council investigating the issues?
Council is also undertaking traffic counts which includes speed and type of vehicles using the streets within the area.
Council also researches crash statistics reported for the area, as well as any previous complaints regarding parking, pedestrian and traffic movements in the area.
Is Council going to make changes to traffic flows or parking areas in the area?
This maybe a possibility dependent on the results of the survey and investigation, however, Council will undertake a public exhibition period of any proposed changes to the area before a final decision is made.
Once I’ve submitted by feedback, what will happen then?
Council will forward a summary of the feedback results to Stantec Australia consultants who have been engaged to undertake the preparation of the LATMP. The information forwarded does not contain any personal information, only the relevant survey information. This will help inform the consultants of the challenges that users face in the area, and assist in prioritising any proposed action plan to resolve these challenges. If there are proposed changes, a public exhibition period will be provided for all community members to make comment, as well as provide an opportunity for people to add further comments if they’ve already made a submission
I want to make a submission, but I can’t do this online
